A New Way to Get Your Flyers on Fire Island
A new service handles printing, shipping, and door-to-door delivery from Cherry Grove to the Pines.
Getting a flyer or poster up on Fire Island has always been more of a production than it should be. Anyone who’s tried knows the drill: design the thing, track down a printer, get it onto the ferry, make sure someone’s waiting on the other side, then find a person willing to walk it door-to-door. It’s a lot of moving parts for a postcard, and the timing has to line up or the whole thing misses.
A new service launched this season, aiming to collapse all of that into a single order. Fire Island Flyers handles the full chain, printing, shipping, ferry freight, and on-island delivery from Cherry Grove to the Pines. You send the artwork, place one order, and the flyers go up on the Wednesday of your choice. The Wednesday timing is deliberate: shares turn over on Thursdays, so a Wednesday drop means your message is already up when the new house arrives.
It’s built for anyone with something to put on a door, whether that’s a business, a nonprofit, a party promoter, or an artist.
Fire Island Flyers is taking orders for the 2026 season now at fi-flyers.com, with more on Instagram at @fireislandflyers.
